On Saturday 22nd April 2023, The Japan-Sweden Society and Tokyo College co-hosted a lecture by Professor Carl-Henrik Heldin, Chairman of the Nobel Foundation. The lecture, "Cancer research – Inspiration from the Nobel Prizes", took place at The University of Tokyo.
Professor Heldin’s fascinating presentation covered an outline of recent cancer research, his work with the Nobel Foundation and the history of the Nobel Prize.
The lecture was attended by JSS members, guests and University of Tokyo representatives, including Professor Hiroaki Aihara, Executive Vice President of The University of Tokyo.
